The software has been created as common product for surveillance cross platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and apart workstations. Customers see MPEG-4 coded picture and have full management of the software through network that security workstation can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure extensively increases reliability because all units act as independent programs. If one part fails, other components keep on working. For instance if the `record` part fails, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture through a `playback` unit. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant pc using Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
